Our cutters have a 8-10% cobalt content which make them strong enough for the toughest applications. When carbide cutters are used in steel they can chip very easily by any imperfections on the steel surface. A carbide cutter will last significantly longer in perfect surroundings but in normal day to day use they chip very easily causing the cutter to slow down and produce a very inaccurate hole. |
